Waxahachie police arrested a suspect in a string of robberies in the North Texas area, including the Jack-in-the-Box restaurant in Princeton, last week after allegedly committing a robbery there.
The suspect also allegedly robbed a Whataburger restaurant in Murphy last week.
Under questioning by police, the suspect admitted to robbing 14 fast food restaurants and convenience stores, Murphy Police Chief Authur Cotten said.
The Jack-in-the-Box in Princeton was robbed about 5:50 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22 when a man entered the restaurant, brandished a semi-automatic handgun and forced the restaurant manager to open the store safe, Princeton Police Chief James Waters said.
