ROUND ROCK – Jaymee Dotson is no stranger to the big stage, known as state.
As a freshman, she helped lead the soccer team to the Class 4A finals at Georgetown.
Fast forward one year later and the sophomore, in her first year of running cross country, took home first place in the 4A meet at Old Settlers Park.
“She is a phenominal runner, I have never coached a runner like her before,” head coach Maurice Hill said. “She has that will to win and doesn’t like to lose. All of her hard work over the entire season payed off in a big way. I think she has a bright future ahead of her.”
