Shortly before noon, Wednesday, Jan. 20, a Greenville FD Fire Engine was driven through the Farmersville Dairy Queen located on Audie Murphy Pkwy.
Three people suffered minor injuries at the scene, one person who was an employee, the driver of the fire engine and one person that was in the drive through lane.
According to reports release by the city of Greenville, the driver was an employee of Siddons-Martin in Denton and was returning the truck to Greenville after service was completed. The truck had been owned by the city of Greenville for about six months and was a Pierce Fire Engine. Preliminary reports are that a mechanical failure may have taken place.
