ROCKWALL – For the second straight year the Panthers drew a Dallas ISD team in the opening round of the playoffs.
The end result was the same with a 91-68 loss to Wilmer-Hutchins during a Class 4A Region II bi-district contest.
“We hadn’t faced that type of pressure defense the entire season. We were in the game for the first two and half quarters, then their full court pressure just became too tough,” head coach Eric Lockman said. “We could have a done a better job of handling the pressure though. They made a run in the third quarter and we just weren’t able to recover. Overall, I’m pleased, it would have been nice to win though.”
