More than 30 people gathered in the Princeton Cemetery to honor the fallen at the annual Memorial Day ceremony.
The ceremony took place May 30 in the morning hours despite soggy conditions.
“I’ve had several calls from people wondering if we were going to cancel because of the rain today,” Collin County Marine Corps League member Steve Deffibaugh said. “Those who have fallen don’t care if it’s raining or not. We will continue to honor them regardless.”
