The Princeton High School 1,600-meter relay teams burned up the track this year as they routinely broke school records for the event meet after meet.
Since the goal this year was to make it to state, they focused on practice and invitational meets to prepare, and this led to the trend of breaking records everywhere they competed.
Each relay team spent long, hard hours at practice trying to beat school and personal records, and although they made it look easy, what went into it, was not.
