MELISSA – A 21-point fourth quarter blew open a tight game, allowing Princeton football to spoil homecoming for Melissa in a 35-12 win.
Two touchdowns in two seconds, one of which was a fumbled kickoff that was recovered in the end zone, sealed the win.
The Cardinals (4-1) chose to receive the ball first and began on their own 24-yard line. A delay of game penalty drove them back to their 19, but a run by Kaedric Cobbs returned the ball to the original line of scrimmage.
