The Whitewing Trails subdivision got back on track with approval on a series of agenda items by city council.
During the Tuesday, June 10 council meeting action regarding repealing and instituting a Public Improvement District (PID) was unanimously approved.
The Whitewing Trails development that will feature 2,500 homes on a 862-acre located off Monte Carlo Boulevard and FM 75 was originally brought to the table in 2016 by Macavity Company LLC of Mesa, Arizona. The plan stalled and the project was bought by Centurion American Development Group. There are 400 multi-family units (apartments/townhomes) scheduled for the project.
Due to this, the project’s development agreement had to be amended by city council.
