The Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) recently announced its all-state academic teams for winter sports.

Princeton senior goalkeeper Jonathan Sanchez landed on the second team for boys soccer.

For Sanchez, being named to the academic all-state team was another postseason award.

Sanchez was named the District 6-6A Co-Goalkeeper of the Year and became the first Panthers male soccer player from Princeton since 2018 to earn recognition from the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches. He was named to the All-Region I-6A second team.

Sanchez turned in three clean sheets and allowed one goal or less in six matches.
