
Plumes of color explode overhead in the night sky amid crowds at the annual Fireworks in the Park event in Josephine June 25.
Live music, games, children’s activities, food and a fireworks finale are all on tap Sunday, July 3, at the sixth annual July Spectacular sponsored by the city of Princeton.
Activities and the fireworks show are centered at J.M. Caldwell, Sr., Community Park/POW Camp, 500 W. College Street, from 5 p.m. until about 10 p.m.
Community Relations Coordinator Stephanie Bowman reported that 60 vendors have reserved spaces at the park, selling a variety of wares and food starting at 5 p.m.
A Kid’s Zone, also opening at 5 p.m. includes bounce houses, train rides and games.
