This Saturday, June 13, is Election Day for the runoff for Place 4 on the Princeton City Council.
None of the four candidates in the May 2 special election received more than 50% of the vote, so a runoff is being held between Jan Goria and Jaisen Rutledge.
With early voting completed Tuesday, June 9, there were 311 ballots cast early, said Collin County Elections Administrator Kaleb Breaux.
The total included 36 mail ballots returned and 275 in-person votes — or 1.78% of the 17,506 registered voters in Princeton, Breaux said.
Voting on Saturday is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Princeton Municipal Center, 2000 E. Princeton Drive, or Collin County Elections, 2010 Redbud Boulevard, McKinney.
The Princeton Herald will provide unofficial results after the polls close. Results are unofficial until votes are canvassed by the Princeton City Council.
