Princeton is taking the next step toward hiring a permanent city manager.
Police Chief James Waters, who has also been serving as alternate city manager since April, said the staff has been evaluating executive search firms as part of the city’s rigorous request-for-proposal process.
Members of a review panel were independently screening firms and Waters said he would present a ranked list at the Monday, June 22, Princeton City Council meeting.
