With temperatures in the teens, community members, first responders and surrounding areas were on the hunt Monday, Jan. 15 for a 13-year-old boy who ran away from home.
Around 6 p.m. a call came out for Aidan, a boy who had been missing for two hours from the Villas of Monte Carlo neighborhood. Looking high and low throughout the community, Princeton PD and Princeton Fire set up a command post at Smith Elementary School.
After a post about the missing boy was shared from Princeton PD on numerous news agencies, citizens began showing up in force to aid in the search.
A Collin County K9 was also called in to help with the search along with Princeton’s Citizen’s On Patrol organization.
