As Princeton and Collin County moves through winter fire season, residents are being advised to be aware of fire dangers and be prepared.
“We have seen many grass fires already this winter both in Princeton and the surrounding areas,” Princeton Assistant Fire Chief Steve Deffibaugh said.
Deffibaugh, who is also a Public Information Officer for the Texas A&M Forest Service, advises residents to embrace the “Ready, Set, Go!” mentality.
Ready refers to taking steps in preparation of fires and preventing the spread of fires.
