After years of hope and delays, there has been a ceremonial start to construction at Princeton Town Center, a 66-acre retail complex on the northwest corner of Beauchamp Boulevard and U.S. Highway 380.
“All their infrastructure has been approved,” Shai Roos, director of development services, said at the Monday, July 6, meeting of the Princeton Planning & Zoning Commission. City officials then broke ground on the project on Wednesday, July 15.
Roos said there would not be any vertical construction done, just groundwork prior to paving. She also said a final plat would be submitted later this month before a building permit is granted. project on Wednesday, July 15.
