School board election called for November

The Princeton ISD Board of Trustees has called an election for two of the seven at-large seats on the board. 

Members serve three-year terms and seats coming open this year are held by Trustees Cyndi Darland, elected in 2020, and Starla Sharpe, elected in 2023. Neither has announced whether they will file for re-election.

The filing deadline for the Tuesday, Nov. 3, general election is 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17.
