Councilmembers question updated water and wastewater plans

Councilmember Cristina Todd questions the engineer presenting the 2026 update to the Princeton Water and Wastewater Plans.

An update to Princeton’s 2017 Water and Wastewater Master Plan had members of the City Council asking, “Why?”

Project Manager Stuart Williams presented the plans to a Monday, Aug. 24, work session before council’s regular meeting.

It evaluated existing conditions and projected needs through 2035 and eventual buildout. The session was for discussion only, with no formal council action taken. However, members of council asked pointed questions about some of the infrastructure issues.
