How cold was it in January? The city opened the Steven and Judy Deffibaugh Community Center as a warming station and Lee Taggart drove his airboat down icy streets.
Severe weather returned in the spring as National Weather Service radar indicated a possible tornado approaching Princeton the evening of Thursday, June 15.
There were no reports that it touched down, but several residents reported wind, hail or lightning damage and many neighborhoods lost power.
