Princeton ISD Superintendent Donald McIntyre says that when doing a budget, the district prefers to under-project revenue and over-project expenses.
“That’s the most conservative way to make sure at the end we’re okay,” he said as PISD trustees got their first look at a proposed budget during their Monday, June 15, meeting.
McIntyre said a final budget would not be adopted until August, after public hearings and the receipt of certified taxable property values from Collin Central Appraisal District.
