After years of reacting to growth, Princeton is preparing to adopt its first comprehensive playbook for deciding what gets built, where it gets built and — perhaps most importantly — when it gets built.
City officials hope the proposed comprehensive plan will prevent the city from repeating mistakes that left roads, parks and commercial development struggling to keep pace with thousands of new residents.
The draft “Live Princeton Comprehensive Plan” will be the focus of a public town hall Saturday, July 11, giving residents an opportunity to review a document intended to guide zoning, infrastructure investments and development decisions over the next 10 to 20 years.
