A 41-year-old Princeton man has been sentenced to spend the rest of his life behind bars for impregnating his teenage daughter, Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis said.

The prosecutor said a 17-year-old girl, who was three months pregnant, told Amarillo police that her father, Leslie Price, had sexually assaulted her while she was living with him in Princeton.

The case was transferred to Princeton, where Price was arrested, Willis said. 

The DA said investigators seized two of Price’s phones, which contained Google searches inquiring whether a 17-year-old could get pregnant, ways for his daughter to obtain an abortion and the age of consent in Texas.

The victim gave birth in March 2025 and Princeton police obtained DNA samples from Price, the victim, and the baby.

Testing confirmed that Price was the biological father of both his daughter and his granddaughter, Willis said.

Price was charged with Prohibited Sexual Conduct, and he was convicted by a McKinney jury on July 1.

During the punishment phase, the state introduced evidence of Price’s prior prison sentences for Assault Family Violence and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.

District Judge Kimberly Laseter then assessed the maximum punishment of life in prison.

“Leslie Price committed the ultimate betrayal — he sexually assaulted his own 17-year-old daughter and fathered her child,” Willis said. “This verdict protects our community and delivers justice for a young victim who showed tremendous courage.”
