A discussion about the future of transportation infrastructure is taking a different turn as several chokepoints within the county are being looked at for expansion.

The Collin County Commission’s Court is concerned about future transportation needs and due to that reason they adopted a court order that would include limited access roadways as part of the needed transportation infrastructure.

Limited access roadways or LARs are roads such as Hwy. 75 and Dallas North Tollway that have limited on and off ramps.
