Going out in style: Dixon claims silver, bronze medals at Class 4A state meet

AUSTIN – The goal for every high school track and field athlete is to compete in the state meet.

Senior Lauryn Dixon did just that last Thursday and earned a pair of medals in Class 4A at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

The West Texas A&M signee earned silver (second) in the discus with a best throw of 138-05.
