With the water and electricity cut off to the Princeton Meadows community pool, water turned a bright green which caused it to be closed by the city as a health hazard.
In a darkening parking lot of their locked community pool, a group of 20 Princeton Meadows homeowners met last week to oust the homeowners’ association (HOA) manager and reconstitute the association board of directors.
The meeting was the latest installment in a long-running effort to view financial records of the HOA started in January 2015 by homeowner Lisa Caldwell. The records are kept by manager Barbara Palmer, who is an attorney and accountant.
Recently, the community swimming pool, in which the water had turned bright green, was closed by the city of Princeton as a health hazard. The city also cut off water to the HOA, needed to water public landscaping and for the swimming pool, for nonpayment of bills.
