The goal for Princeton girls basketball heading into district action was to be 5-0.
That didn’t happen as they are 3-2 in third place in 11-4A.
“Our goal was to be 5-0 at the midpoint but we lost two tight games away to quality well coached opponents that we feel could have gone either way,” PHS head coach Matthew Butler said. “With our 3-2 mark we are in a good position to make the playoffs but our goals are much higher.”
Above them were 5-0 state-ranked Melissa and Aubrey 4-1, with Celina 2-3 for fourth.
