Lady Panther soccer wrapped up a successful first half of the season with a second win over a No. 2 state ranked team from Class 4A.
After besting Argyle earlier in the season, Princeton (8-4 overall as of Monday, Feb. 5) won 2-1 on the road against Midlothian Heritage.
“Both are quality teams and teams that come out of Class 4A Region I. Since (Class) 4A establishes its own state championship all state champions have come out of Region I. I think it is a testament to this year’s team and the ability we have to compete against some of the best team in the state,” PHS head coach Michele Housden said.
