CARROLLTON – It was a history-making day for the Princeton boys’ and girls’ varsity wrestling teams.
The Lady Panthers won the District 9-5A title with 108.5 points on Thursday, Jan. 8 at R.L. Turner High School.
“It’s a huge accomplishment for these girls as a first-year program with no wrestling experience prior to this year,” PHS District Coach of the Year Ryan Delavergne said.
The Panthers scored 42 points for ninth place, with Highland Park (221 points), Carrollton Creekview (192) and McKinney North (153).
