The beginning of August means we’re almost through the worst of the heat and this week is expected to hold Collin County’s first 100 degree day of the season.
Nicknamed “the dog days of summer,” July and August typically mark hottest days of the year. With temperatures continuing to rise into the upper 90s and low 100s, it becomes even more crucial for people and pets to stay cool.
And when you live in Texas, you have to get creative.
Rather than spend every day watching TV, some families are finding their own unique cool-down methods.
