Managing growth in Princeton, not funding it, is the challenge faced by the community as its population has tripled over the past decade and is expected to continue increasing over the next several years.
Princeton had a population of 6,924 in the 2010 Census and City Manager Derek Borg estimates it now stands at 18,000 to 21,000 and growing. He pegs the growth boom as starting in about 2014.
