An observant eye by Cpl. Jesus Rodriguez of Princeton Police Department led to the arrest of three people and recovery of items believed stolen in Princeton and several other North Texas communities.
While on routine patrol about 11:40 a.m. Aug. 24, Rodriguez saw what he believed to be a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Fourth St. occupied by three persons and parked close to a trailer loaded with multiple weedeaters, chainsaws and other lawn maintenance items.
Several of the tools matched the description of a burglary at the ballfields maintenance building in Princeton, Police Chief James Waters reported.
