Construction, academic updates presented

The Princeton ISD Board of Trustees held its regular monthly meeting on Monday, October 21.

With a lengthy agenda, the Board acted on multiple items, including cancellation of the school board election scheduled for November 5. In­cumbents Carol Bodwell and Ricky Gillespie are unopposed for re-election. Bodwell, who has served on the Board since 1989, and Gillespie, who has served on the Board since 2010, will be sworn in for their next 3-year term at the regular Board meeting on Monday, December 16.
