The naval military science program at Princeton High School has experienced stormy seas since its inception in 2017, but smoother sailing is expected in the future with a seasoned sailor at the helm.
Taking over the program in March 2019 was retired Chief Petty Officer Peter Duchesne, who served 23 years active duty followed by 10 years as a Naval Junior ROTC instructor.
