Lady Panthers face Krum in area round series
By David Jenkins
Staff Writer
The Lady Panthers (18-11-1 overall, as of May 2) are set to face a familiar foe in the area round of the Class 4A Region II playoffs.
For the third straight season, they will play Krum (9-4A champion) in a best-of-three series at Frisco Heritage High School.
“This has turned into somewhat of a rivalry being the third year in a row we have faced each other,” head coach Jason Milligan said. “The overall series is tied with Krum advancing last year. They still have the lefty pitcher who gave us fits last year. Should be another great match up.”
