This week, the PISD school board discussed the future of Princeton High School, Lovelady High School, CATE, fine arts and athletics at length.

At the Monday, July 15 school board meeting, 10 year plans were revealed.

Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education James Lovelady, who was recently promoted to the post after serving as PHS principal for the past four years, explained to the board that Lovelady High School needs to be a unique experience, not just a pass through on the students’ way to senior high.

The high school is named for the Lovelady family who is active in the school district, including school board member Bob Lovelady.
