Balancing act: PHS graduate excels on field, in classroom

The adjustment from high school sports to college can be a difficult one.

You not only have to adapt to the competition level, but also the academic demands.

Colt Collins, Austin College senior, said balancing sports and classes is particularly tough during football season.

His day starts out before the sun has risen with weight training.
