Mrs. MaryAnn “Candy” Copeland, age 69, passed away on September 7, 2026, at her home in Princeton, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.
Candy was born on August 5, 1957, in San Antonio, Texas. On July 1, 1977, she married the love of her life, Danny Copeland, in Princeton, Texas. Together, they shared 49 years of marriage and built a beautiful life and family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Copeland; her children, Leslie Tucker and husband Brad, Lyndie Keyes and husband Matt, and Daniel Copeland and wife Jeannie; and her beloved grandchildren, Layla Keyes, Hadley Keyes, Brynn Tucker, Bailyn Tucker, Darcy Copeland, Chancey Copeland, and Everly Copeland. She is also survived by her mother, JoAnn Frankum; and siblings, Ginger Williams, Joey Goodman, and Chuck Hutcheson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Goodman.
Candy was a light to everyone she encountered. Her warmth and love extended far beyond her family and friends to the thousands of young lives she touched during her 29 years at Princeton High School.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, former students, and the community she served for so many years.
