Growth within the city has the city looking at additional space for housing Parks and Recreation and Code Enforcement employees.
“Parks and Rec employees are working out of their cars because they don’t have office space,” City Manager Derek Borg explained to city council at their meeting Monday, Feb. 12.
The crux of the matter, he said, that the city needs additional space and that even if the city started this week on a new city hall annex, it would be three years before it would be ready for use.
The space, located as 120 W. Brown Street in Princeton, would cost the city about $2,200 a month in a leasing agreement.
