Princeton’s track and field team led by senior Gavin Champ participated in the District 10-5A Championships at Lovejoy High School in Lucas.
Champ earned two gold medals in the boys long jump (23’9”) and triple jump (47’6”). Terrayah McCoy won the gold medal in the girls high jump (5’6”). Mariah Hart earned a bronze medal in the shot put (35’4”). Kanniya Douglas finished fifth in the shot put (33’02.75”). Kaylee Dixon placed third in the discus throw (107’10”).
In the sprints, Randall Fannin earned the silver medal in the boys 110-meter hurdles (15.33). Donovan Dixon-Lester received the bronze medal in the 400-meter dash (49.69). Willie Arkansas finished fifth in the 200-meter dash (21.67). Lindan Jones placed fifth in the 800-meter run (2:00.40).
