Panther baseball drops three home games

by | Apr 7, 2022 | Sports

Princeton was blessed with having back-to-back-to back home games, however the Panthers (1-3 district) couldn’t take advantage of having home field.  They watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-3 loss to the Wylie East Raiders on Tuesday.

The Raiders took the lead on a single in the first inning and never looked back.  Princeton struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Wylie East, giving up ten runs.

Wylie East opened scoring in the first inning but really put the game away in the third inning when they scored five runs.

The Wylie East offense in the inning was led by Nathan Lam, Kason Atkins, Caden Roeschen, and Knox Wilson who all drove in runs.

The Raider pitcher went seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out ten.
